Following on from Monday’s Rock God Save The Queen Played at Town Hall on Common Wealth Day, as featured in Coventry Evening Telegraph,

last saturday saw Students play their first ever open air concert, in Nuneaton Town Centre – where Music fans, shoppers and passersby alike were treated to some classic Rock, Blues, Indie, Ska celebrating Coventry’s and The Midlands Music heritage and a little Funk – a fantastic opportunity and a unique experience for Students who wanted to and were ready to take the next step and play with a full band out in the open.

And Starting with the end in Mind,  above video is Show Finale Sweet Child of Mine featuring 13 YO students Jake and Luke handling all Guitardutiies – watch out for a little rock- pyrotechnics and screaming feedback at the end – proving the power of a deep  enjoyable immersive learning process that is not only a lot of fun, but also gets results!

And as well as some classic rock, coming in a moment – there was a little funk jam with some advanced rock students – proving the power of application across genres – by learning how to apply what You can play in one genre, for example rock in a different genre, such as here Funk – only serves to make You a better and more rounded player… as You will see here

And not forgetting Indie… here we have younger students playing on Stereophonics classic, Dakota

And Students who SKA’d the audience with the Sound of The Specials, with our special guest singer Mark Ashby, a founder member of Ska band Reflex from the 1980s – that made these particular renditions of Gangsters and Specials encore Monkey man, not only explosive… but very magical and memorable as well as You’re about to see…

And Specials Encore favourite Monkey Man….

And not forgetting Classic Timeless Rock played out in the open sunshine, see how many of these YOU can remember…
