RIP The Man likely responsible for more stage debuts in the Coventry/ Warwks Area : Graham Cudworth

 

I was deeply saddened to hear when Graham passed away;

Although due to ill health Graham was no longer able to help out with workshop nor live events after 2013 I’ve literally lost count of the number of student stage debuts, indoor/ outdoor events and workshops that Graham has helped make magical and memorable over the years, especially since we started filming these from as far back as 2009 – Graham features easily in at least half of all the videos from the wworkshops and live events from 2009 through to 2013

 

Graham even provided me with sound advice for My solo electric rendition of God Save The Queen on First Ever CommonWealth Celebration back in 2014

 

His son Ollie From ExpressMusic Coventry’s Largest Music Store also helped on Bass at student events, as well as members from the band Heritage.

 

When I first met Graham back in 2003 – a song that he always showcased was the climax tune from the 1980 Blues Brothers Film… Sweet Home Chicago.

 

Therefore as a Small and Yet Special Tribute to Graham who helped so many Student Debut Performances over the years we have now included Sweet Home Chicago not only in our workshops but also in the live student shows, where students that want to are able to take what they learn in their Immersion Lessons that step further.

 

Here is a snapshot of The Acoustic section from a workshop back in March, where students together with a full band played Sweet Home Chicago as tribute from Graham Cudworth, who can easily be found on over half of the 100s of videos in the Events section, ensuring his Musical legacy continues.
