Hi There – This time 4 student guitars, cover Muse classic Knights Of Cydonia, with full band.
In this arrangement, there are more guitar solos than the original Muse version,
instead of the keyboards solos and also instead of the trumpet solo at the end
in fact all four students, Sohrab, Dan, Jake and Luke do play guitar solos –
the main solo is harmonised to give a fuller sound, and also in the quiet section the key board arpeggios are played as 8th note triplet mini sweeps through arpeggios on two guitar, if you know the song, even the trumpet solo is played using unison bends on guitar
all….to add to the drama before the final build up.
This is the second time we have had Knights Of Cydonia, at a Student Show – the first time was way back at Show Number 5 with only 2 student guitars at that time…
