Just heard the sad news that Guitarist Ron Smith has died.
Rom was a member of Coventry’s Mad Classix, founded in 1958. At one time Ron shared guitar duties with Jeff Lynne. Jeff would go on to find fame with The Move.
Ron Smith was one of our guests at one of the early shows way back show number 2 ,- Here was Ron as he was known best with his “Tardis Effects Rack” playing his own original Ron’s Boogie.
