Hi There,
Earlier this year – Jim Marshall, founder of Marshall Amplifiers – to many the definitive Rock Guitar amp, sadly died aged 89 back in April.
By way of a tribute at the recent Autumn show – students took it in turns to play on Stepping Out – a blues rock instrumental originally made popular by Eric Clapton when he was in John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers – the very last track on what has over the years become known as the Beano Album.
And here are students playing, in fornt of family and friends, showing all the progress they have made over the past 12 months in their lessons and workshops and other events – featuring even more solos than the original Bluesbreakers track – which was only fair since the Bluesbreakers version had One Guitarist playng solos – and we had more students that needed to be fitted in… as You’re about to see and hear :-
