Hi There,
Well already into a mild February and putting the final touches to a new workshop – Rock Goes Acoustic,
this Sunday – where students from near beginners that have been playing only a few months will be playing alongside other more established students –
some who have been playing for over 40 years – mixing the abilities from beginners and beyond – a great chance to not only experience playing with others but for early stage/ beginners a great way to be inspired by hearing the playing and the progress made by more established students – and to spend multile hours making music and playing guitar – something that its not always easy to do at home with all the different distractions
It will also be a great chance to play and have the band experience without playing on an actual stage, or in front of an audience or even with stage lights – though there will be brush drums,vocals and electric Bass from Bass student Adam from local Coventry Indie Band – Broken Rebels.
Also showing that its not only Rock music can be played purely on Acoustic Guitar – there will also be some reggae, funk, Blues, Rockabilly and even Acoustic Metal.
