Sadly towards the end of 2012 – Dave Brubeck who recorded the best selling Jazz single of All Time – Take 5, as featured on 1950s albu Time Out sadly died. So as a tribute – there was a Jazz Goes Acoustic part of the Workshop where students of mixed ability got to play the main riff/part of Take 5 – something quite unusual and not the normal rock/pop/indie that many students come along to play – although its having the exposure to playing different styles and different music that will really help You break out of Your Musical rut as You can see in the video below where students from age 11 through to age 72 all played on Take 5 with Acoustic Guitars.
