As part of next week’s first Summer Workshop, there will be a tribute to Alvin Lee Guitarist for Ten Years, who died earlier this year.
Alvin’s playing came to the attention of the masses through his high energy performance of Going Home at Woodstock in 1969.
With just a little over a week to go – a quick look at some Acoustic and also Electric Student workshops from the past – showing students of mixed ability, and from ages as diverse as 11 through to 72 – playing Blues in different formats, some acoustically, some plugging in to amps, while others go on to play at the Special Student Shows..
