Just a little over a week before the first of the Summer Workshops – a great chance to plug in and play for multiple hours with live drums and vocals – its good to see and hear how all these different learning formats can pull together to really help You learn, progress and reach Your playing potential by taking part in all the multiple proven learning ways possible – different from just the typical “taking lessons”.

Here’s a case in point with students, at different levels, different ages and abilities – taking part in Carl Perkins Rockabilly classic Matchbox – some playing at the Acoustic Workshop – and some even going on to play at the Electric Workshop before finally getting to perform this classic in front of family and friends at the Student Show.

Of course not everyone necessarily starts out aiming to learn Rockabilly, although taking part in a hybrid learning program can only strengthen Your Musical foundations as a player, and even as a performer – even though maybe Your main type of Music might be more oriented towards Rock, Blues, Indie or some other similar style.

Til Next Time
