Before any show it is always a good idea to do a sound check, to check the levels of the various instruments before the audience comes in to the venue – You will notice that my bass was actually a little distorted here (something that was later corrected by the sound engineer) as it did drown out Michael the keyboard player’s solo a little bit..
But these are problems to iron out, before the performance – and big thanks to Steve and the sound engineers at Arches Music venue that helped us catch this challenge during the soundcheck..
Huge congratulations to Jake on rhythm guitar – and to students Sohrab and Luke who harmonised the Ritchie Blackmore solo towards the end..
